Employability & Careers: Careers Assistant (Magee, Coleraine and Belfast campus opportunities)
Role:
To provide a front of house service to students visiting Employability & Careers campus locations. This will involve providing information on our range of digital resources and booking students in to appointments with our Employability Advisers. You will need to be friendly and outgoing, confident to deal with student interactions.
Outline of duties
Providing a friendly welcoming environment to students visiting the Employability and Careers hub
Developing and delivering promotional activities including 'pop-up' provision around campus and short class presentations/shoutouts
Following training and with ongoing mentoring, answering student queries
Signposting students to our range of digital resources
Supporting with administration tasks as required
Support with the set up and running of events
Support with social media content creation and promotion
Essential Criteria
Excellent communication skills
Confident using online systems
Desirable
Previous experience of our services
