Industrial Placement – Environmental Protection (one post) – 2026/27

 

Belfast City Council has an opportunity for three Industrial Placements for a maximum of 12 months each in the City Services Section of the City and Neighbourhood Services Department.

 

Please bring this vacancy to the attention of second year or stage two undergraduate students studying for an Honours degree or third year undergraduate students following a Masters degree in a relevant subject such as; Land Use and Environmental Management, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Geography, etc. that includes computer programming and or software application and be eligible to undertake an industrial placement in 2025/26.

 

Please note, applicants must also have a full current driving licence which enables them to drive in Northern Ireland or have access to a form of transport which enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full.  It is desirable that a vehicle is available for official business.

 

Appointment will be subject to official confirmation of successful completion of all second-year undergraduate (Honours degree) examinations.
