What do our Junior Technical Support Analysts /Junior IT Support Analysts do?
As part of a supportive, knowledgeable team of ArcGIS System experts, you will help ensure our customers success by providing valuable technical support. This varied role will give you experience in:
• Responding to customer technical enquiries (recording, reproducing, diagnosis and gathering the insight required to resolve issues)
• Working with teams across the business and internationally to investigate and resolve complex scenarios
• Creating and sharing technology best practice and content
• Promoting the benefits of our products and services to customers, partners and internal teams
• Assisting in identifying sales opportunities using your knowledge of the ArcGIS Platform
• Contributing to technical research projects and training courses
• Helping the Esri Education team by providing technical input for their Schools and Higher Education programmes
This would be a great career move if you
• Have a good working knowledge of the ArcGIS platform and Esri Product portfolio
• Like to solve problems.
• Are either educated to degree level (in Geography, GIS or Computer Sciences), or have relevant industry-based experience.
• Having some previous customer facing experience is an advantage, however your ability to build great professional relationships with customers and colleagues alike is more important.
• Are a good communicator, with the confidence to talk to individuals and groups of customers, understanding how to tailor what you are saying to suit your audience.
Because of the types of data and clients we work with, all our positions require successful candidates to undergo a basic security clearance and you will need entitlement to work in the UK.

• A good basic salary starting from circa £24k+ depending on experience, plus a bonus paying up to 20% per annum

• Flexibility – Location - this is a hybrid role, you will be based at least some days every week at whichever one of our offices is nearest to you (Aylesbury, Cambridge, Edinburgh or Belfast), on the other days you can work from home.
Hours – Whilst this is a permanent full time role working Mon-Fri, we are also happy to consider part time applicants. Please detail your ideal hours/working pattern you are seeking in your cover letter.
