JobStart is a new scheme, run by the Department for Communities, to help young people who are at risk of long term unemployment, aged 16 to 24 years, get into the job market by offering six month job opportunities with a range of employers, in all sectors across Northern Ireland.
Ulster Wildlife has 8 opportunities available under the scheme
Ulster Wildlife is delighted to be participating in the JobStart Scheme and is currently recruiting for the following roles:
Bog Meadows Nature Reserve Assistant (x2 roles)
Nature Reserves Assistant (x3 roles)
Campaigns Assistant
Fundraising and Communications Assistant
Environmental Youth Work Assistant
Each role is a 6-month fixed term contract (25 hours per week) at National Minimum Wage rates offering the opportunity to build skills and experience with on-the-job training and transferable skills development.
These roles are funded through the Department of Communities JobStart Scheme and are aimed at young people aged 16 – 24 who are not in employment, education or training. If you are interested in applying for any of these roles you MUST do so via your local Job Centre or Work Coach if you are on benefit.
