Senior Marine Environmental Scientist (R0015344) (Edinburgh or Portchester) – 2 positions
Working as a pivotal part of the team you will be responsible for leading on a variety of high-quality technical reports, in addition to training, mentoring, and managing personnel. Specialising in environmental site characterisation and environmental monitoring. The data we collect enables our clients and regulatory organisations to fully understand the effects of development and activities in the coastal and marine environment. Your key responsibilities will include line management, leading production of technical reports, providing technical input, review and quality control of report deliverables and training staff in collecting, arranging, interpreting, and presenting survey data and results within these reports.
To succeed in this role you will need:
A background in marine environmental science with a BSc, MSc or PhD in Marine Science or Environmental Science
Experience of statistical analysis, GIS software, interpreting geophysical data, report review and writing and quality control.
Renewables industry experience.
