24 CASA Urban Futures Master's Scholarships for under-represented groups from the Office for Students worth £10,000 each for students enrolling on the Urban Spatial Science MSc (at UCL) in September 2023. We want to diversify the range of people working in AI and Data Science by enabling students from under-represented groups to pursue a conversion course with us in London. The degree programme has been designed as a conversion course aiming to attract applications from a wide range of disciplines. There is no pre-requisite knowledge or experience required and all concepts are taught from the ground up.
To be eligible you must meet both of the essential criteria and one of the additional criteria listed below.

Scholarship criteria
Essential criteria (must meet both)
Students must be eligible for a UK Postgraduate Master's Loan (those living full-time in the UK, with a few exceptions): https://www.gov.uk/masters-loan.
Students must have received an offer to study CASA’s Urban Spatial Science MSc, starting in 2023.
Additional criteria (must meet at least one)
These master’s scholarships are aimed at those from backgrounds underrepresented in AI and data science. Students belonging to the following groups will be considered, with priority given to the first four groups:
Women
Black students
Students registered disabled
Students from low socioeconomic backgrounds (household income of less than £42,875)
Care-experienced students
Estranged students
Gypsy, Roma and Traveller students
Refugees
Children from military families, veterans and partners of military personnel
